My name is Darren and I am a second year student at Capilano with the intent to transfer over to UBC or SFU. \u00a0This will be the first post of many for the duration of this course. \u00a0So far the course content seems fairly interesting. \u00a0It has topics ranging from classic Greek tragedies, to modern works, and video games. \u00a0I have played video games all my life, and because of that I am very excited to be able to play Bioshock Infinite as well as other smaller projects for educational purposes.<\/p>\n
I have had experience using blogs since the early days of Angel Fire and now more recently, Tumblr. \u00a0In addition to that I read quite a bit of articles published online from various outlets including\u00a0Engadget, Joystiq, TheVerge, and many others. \u00a0The amount of online articles and blogs is vast and continuously growing every day. \u00a0Themes and topics range from everything to anything which can make the act of blogging interesting and addicting. \u00a0As such, blogs are a window to someone’s mind. \u00a0It is very easy to find out a specific individual’s interests because of the ease of access. \u00a0Everything is out in the open and someone, somewhere can and will see your content regardless if it’s “private” or not.<\/p>\n
