First Post – Self Introduction

Hello, my name is Jeff and this is my first post for the ENGL 214 blog.

I believe that blogs are a wonderful medium for displaying thoughts, ideas, or any other creative endeavor. WordPress is a pretty powerful suite of publishing tools that is used people of all walks of life; from professionals whose work is based within the blogosphere, to kids at home posting pictures and daily updates  of their pet ferret. Another simpler and user friendly way to blog is to use a platform called Tumblr. It does not nearly have the same capabilities, but is fully capable of  providing a rich experience.
