Façade
I found the story in Façade wasn’t too hard to pick up on what was going on/being hidden right away. However I don’t feel it didn’t took anything away from the game as it was basically spelled out what was happening before you start playing. It is an interesting game, not something I normally would play. I think it is the first major text-based game I have played other than an easter egg in one of the Call Of Duty games (Zork, based on the Adventure game).
My first playthrough was pretty short, I managed to get myself kicked out of the apartment in about 5 or 10 minutes. It was difficult for me to adjust to the limit of how much I could type. The second time, I managed to complete the game but I’m not sure if it was because of anything I did or not. I found I had more success when I started typing extremely simple sentences like “Truth, Yes” and the characters would respond and talk about the subject. I plan on playing it 2 or 3 more times to try for different scenarios and outcomes or to see what kind of ridiculous things I can create or make the characters do.

I also thought it became easier to play when I would reply with short answers and just let the other characters move the story line along.
