First Post- Self Introduction

Hi My name is Behfar, I’m 18, second year here at Capilano U.   I enjoy fine cuisine that consists of Campbell’s Chunky beef soup, Ramen Noodles, and Spam for those special nights. I also enjoy aged drinks, such as the week old 1% milk sitting in the back of my fridge. I’m a pretty adventurous person, some days when I’m feeling extra edgy i like to sit at the front of the Seabus and pretend I’m the captain. I also enjoy going up about 1/4 of the grouse grind, come down and take the gondola up and pour water on myself  to make people think i just had a hard workout and pretend I finished the whole thing in 35 minutes...

My name is Paul Bhangoo and I am excited for my first blog post. I am looking forward to conversing with my classmates about the class material and reading everyone’s blogs. The gaming aspect of the course really appeals to me being that I am a avid gamer myself. The first game we played, “Facade” was interesting and if not for this course I would not have played it. It shows how far games have come and the ability for almost anyone to create something playable and interactive. My name is Mitchell Duncan and I am currently attending Capilano University. My interests include shark wrangling, riding lions, and writing essay’s for English class. I am excited for English 214 this year because, as I believe, it will include slightly less literary analysis than one would normally encounter in a typical English course. I am especially excited for “Bioshock” as I can rarely bring myself to spend money on videogames, and it is not the type of game I would normally play. In summery I am looking forward to something different from the usual, as I’m sure this class will...

1: The intro to me – Will Dahms...

Sep 12, 2013 by

With this post, not only will I introduce myself to everybody, but you will be participating in my very first blogging experience. I hope that the series of postings that ensue would be captivating. I go by my middle name, Will, since my German first name is often butchered and honestly not a very modern stylish name.  Some interesting facts about me: I was born and lived in South Africa until I was 12 and immigrated to Canada. I’m 24 now but technically spent more time in Canada and identify as Canadian. I Graduated high school, dabbled around at Cap for a bit, then joined the Justice Institute of British Columbia’s Firefighting School – which I completed. I’m a certified Firefighter Level 1&2, and also certified Fire Officer Level 1&2. Alongside these I have...
